Aspectos positivos: Realmente todo está perfecto, para lo que se paga es realmente impresionante todo lo que ofrece, desde la hospitalidad de los trabajadores, en especial de Carlos, quien fue quien me estuvo apoyando con mi estadía, hasta la casa en si; bastante cómodo el lugar, que decir de la terraza que me parece el punto fuerte, ya que la vista es impresionante y la zona es tranquila, si algún día vuelvo a ir me volveré a hospedar en Casa Santiago, espero que si voy de nuevo no sea por una Oaxaqueña, no se enamoren de ellas amigos, andar dolidos en la tierra del mezcal es fuerte

Aspectos negativos: Si tengo que ponerle una pega es que la ubicación dónde se encuentra es cuesta arriba por lo que se hace un poco pesado subir esas calles jaja, de igual forma durante mi estadía estaban remodelando la calle, por lo que los taxis no podían cruzar, pero eso no es culpa de la Casa, de igual forma el centro es muy seguro por lo que no te tienes que preocupar en caminar de noche

Aspectos positivos: En realidad todo, la habitacion es muy cómoda, la cama y las almohadas ideales para descansar, el baño tiene todo lo necesario, el personal es muy muy amable y el balcón es la cereza del pastel, vocería sin dudarlo.

Aspectos negativos: Todo me ha gustado

Aspectos positivos: Casa Santiago is located in a great spot in an authentic local neighborhood, offering beautiful mountain views and a truly welcoming atmosphere. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and make you feel at home right away. The facilities are perfectly fine overall; however, if you need a refrigerator, you should book the larger room with the kitchen. The only minor downside is that the neighbors’ dogs can bark quite often, sometimes early in the morning or at night. Still, it’s a highly recommended place for anyone who appreciates a local vibe and a fantastic view.

We stayed on the second floor with an amazing view of the city and mountains.

Aspectos positivos: One of the care takers, Carlos met us one morning with traditional chocolate drink con Agua and traditional Oaxacan bread. We shared a wonderful morning breakfast learning more about Oaxaca and local life. Best tacos at Los Tacos de Esme and coffee at Café Talante just down the street.

Aspectos negativos: The wifi wasn't connecting the first day, but was quickly resolved after we mention it. Safe quiet area, even with the dogs and roosters, but you'll find those everywhere you go in Mexico.

Quaint quarto with excellent view near Oaxaca city centre

Aspectos positivos: Quaint quarto with excellent view in a less touristy area of Oaxaca - though very near the centre. Carlos was an outstanding host, responsive with our questions and requests, and even offered us complimentary hot chocolate and local breads one morning.

Great staff, great location, safe and comfortable.

Aspectos positivos: The attention from the staff was excellent, they went above and beyond to answer my questions and ensured I had a safe and comfortable stay. The location was great too, within walking distance of the centre in a quiet and safe spot.

I had a wonderful time in Oaxaca and would stay at Casa Santiago again.

Aspectos positivos: The small apartment was ideal, (except for a few things I will detail below). It was very comfortable, and I loved the view outside my window. Loved having a small kitchen and fridge. Loved having a small balcony. Carlos, the concierge, was extraordinary. Very responsive and accommodating. He met me late at night when I first arrived, and arranged for a cab very early in the morning when I left. He responded to every text I sent him and was very helpful throughout my stay. Although the bathroom was separate from the apartment, it was accessible and private.

Aspectos negativos: It was pretty clean, but could have been a little cleaner. I did not really like the fact that the bathroom was separate from the apartment, but I had it to myself. Also, there was a misunderstanding at the beginning, regarding whether I had really rented an \

Aspectos negativos: 何も無いです。

Excellent, safe location with city overlooks. Best for couples or solo travelers.

Aspectos positivos: Location: The property is located in a fantastic spot on the hills overlooking downtown Oaxaca (but still only a 10 minute walk to Santo Domingo). There was a terrace a few steps away, but even the bedroom and kitchen had remarkable overlook views. Safety: As a solo woman traveler, I also appreciated that I was next door to a 24-hour mobile police station (though of course, like almost everywhere in the city, you’ll need to speak some Spanish). Accommodating: The owner (manager?) Carlos was very accommodating and always gave me recommendations over WhatsApp for tours, taxis, drinking water, and even what to do with the trash cans. I appreciated his attention.

Aspectos negativos: Bathroom: it was clean and it was private to my room but I had to leave my bedroom, enter a shared corridor, and then enter the bathroom. So I didn’t feel comfortable when I needed to shower, for example. There’s nothing they can do about that, but that’s why this wasn’t a 10-point rating.
