Un lugar maravilloso, un poco caro, y con cosas que mejorar.
Aspectos positivos: Excelente edificación, con una arquitectura preciosa y con un patio interior poblado de vegetación muy agradable. Personal muy amable y dispuestos a ayudar con todo. Disfrutamos de una suite muy bonita y equipada. El desayuno estuvo muy bien.
Aspectos negativos: Está, desde mi punto de vista, en el límite de la zona del centro en la que nos sentíamos seguros por las noches, ya que está muy solitario el barrio a esas horas. Aunque me consta que el hotel está trabajando para afrontarlo, tiene un problema grave con un local de eventos muy cercano que hace celebraciones estruendosas que duran hasta altas horas de la noche, y que penetran sonoramente en las habitaciones. Aspectos positivos: El desayuno es fenomenal, pero lo mejor del desayuno es poder interactuar con Tania que todas las mañanas nos recibía con una sonrisa y los mejores consejos de donde caminar, que hacer y cualquier duda que tuvieramos

Muy recomendable
Aspectos positivos: El hotel está súper bonito, el servicio impecable , súper amables todos. La comida deliciosa. Está lleno de detalles: por ejemplo, nos regalaron helado de mezcal, tienen hierbas en el jardín del centro.
Aspectos negativos: Está un poco alejado del centro comparado con otros hoteles.

Aspectos positivos: Like an oasis in the middle of a buzzing city. We received an upgrade, too. The staff were superfriendly and helpful. Also, the driver they recommended was excellent (and provided guide services too).
Aspectos negativos: A bit pricey but it comes with all the bells and whistles after all, so worth it in a global context (if expensive in the Oaxaca context). Breakfast service was a bit slow but a minor inconvenience (just make sure you bring some time if you have an excursion booked).

Aspectos positivos: The location was great, close to downtown but in a quieter part, also that we travelled as family was great the space as we could spend more time together in our own private place.
Aspectos negativos: the bed and pillows were not so confortable.

Overall, while expensive, this place was amazing. We would return and recommend.
Aspectos positivos: Clean, comfortable, beautiful property in a fantastic location. We were able to walk to everything. The staff were friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to engage with our toddler. Also the tap water is safe, which made everything so much easier.
Aspectos negativos: We had no upstairs neighbor until the last night, which was fortunate because the sound of them dragging chairs across the tile floor was super loud. On Saturday night, the club music was a little intense, but didn’t reach us in the bedroom.

Aspectos positivos: Las habitaciones son muy espaciosas y cómodas. Cuentan con detalles que hacen la experiencia muy placentera. El lugar es bonito, la calidad de la comida del restaurante es muy buena. La atención de todo el personal es excelente.
Aspectos negativos: Aunque el servicio y la habitación son de muy buen nivel, el lugar es muy pequeño y no sé si valga lo que cobran comparado con otros hoteles del estilo en otros lugares.

Cannot recommend this place highly enough!
Aspectos positivos: We moved to El Callejon as our original hotel was not good. From the moment we arrived here we knew we had made a wonderful decision. This is a truly beautiful hotel set in a beautiful oasis of a garden and incredibly calm and relaxing as a result. The staff could not be more hospitable or helpful and I would recommend that anyone staying in Oaxaca stays here, it is a real gem. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making it such a great stay in Oaxaca
